KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 ― Bursa Malaysia continued its decline at mid-afternoon on downbeat sentiment following the US Federal Reserve's interest rate hike decision yesterday.

On the broader market, losers led gainers 438 to 384, while 365 counters were unchanged, 1,086 untraded, and seven others suspended.Among Bursa Malaysia heavyweights, CelcomDigi advanced seven sen to RM4.33, Press Metal was flat at RM4.70, Maybank trimmed nine sen to RM8.46, Public Bank slipped six sen to RM3.94, CIMB went down two sen to RM5.18, and TNB fell one sen to RM9.51.

On the index board, the FBM 70 Index firmed 71.40 points to 13,360.53, the FBM Emas Index slid 17.29 points to 10,305.45, and the FBMT 100 Index gave up 19.37 points to 9,997.23.
