MANILA,Philippines – The Bureau of Customs on Thursday said that its Post Clearance Audit Group recognized last year’s top taxpayers and importers.
Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio said the BOC recognizes its stakeholders for their contributions to the revenue generation efforts of the government.Based on their settlement of deficient duties and taxes, Mondelez Philippines, Inc., Japan Tobacco International, Inc., and Glaxosmithkline Philippines, Inc. were the top importers of 2022, said the BOC.
The BOC listed the other top ten taxpayers as follows: Unilever Philippines, Inc., Chevron Philippines Inc., Nestle Philippines Inc., Novartis Health Care Phils Inc., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, Fast Retailing Philippines Inc., and Toyota Motor Philippines.
