Man of the World 2019 front-runner Daniel Georgiev Georgiev of Bulgaria has captured the heart of Filipino pageant fans who call him Captain America.
“I enjoyed being with Filipinos. They call me Captain America. I had selfies with them. It’s fun,” said Georgiev during a simple chat moments before the official candidates of Man of the World 2019 contest were presented to the media at Hotel Benilde on Taft Avenue in Manila.
Carson Leung of Hong Kong said he was a witness when Filipino fans called him Captain America during a tour in Metro Manila. Georgiev is now one of the front-runners in the male pageant after he won Best in Swimwear during preliminaries held in Dipolog City. The Bulgarian hunk who has walked the runways in Europe for popular designers is a popular model in his country.Thirty contestants are vying for the title of Man of the World 2019 which will be held in San Juan City on July 11.
