THE Bulacan State University Educational Development Office recently held a two-day Training- Workshop on Curriculum Improvement and Crafting an Effective Syllabus in preparation for the opening of classes for the 1st semester of academic year 2025–2026.Guest speakers were University of the Philippines Los Baños Human and Family Development Studies chair Rufo Gil Albor and UPLB Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education director Jenielyn Padrones.
At the training sessions, Albor and Padrones discussed the evolving landscape of curriculum design and development in higher education, in relation to the needs of learners, society, and industry.Faculty participants actively engaged in crafting program educational objectives and designing effective syllabi tailored to BulSU's institutional goals.The workshop concluded with a reflective sharing of experiences and a final coaching session with the facilitators.
