K-pop superstars BTS will stream free online concerts as a special gift to millions of fans and their families who are staying at home due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
BTS and other K-pop artists are turning to online platforms and apps like YouTube, Naver V Live, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to continue connecting to fans around the world.
The BTS Online Concert Weekend dubbed as “Bang Bang Con” will be held on April 18 and 19 and will feature BTS’ past concerts and will consist of eight parts. Each day, the free streaming event will start at 12 noon Korea Standard Time through the official YouTube channel BANGTANTV. On April 18, fans will be able to watch the 2015 BTS LIVE , 2016 BTS LIVE , BTS 2014 Live Trilogy: Episode II The Red Bullet and BTS 3rd Muster [ARMY.ZIP+].The second day on April 19 will feature 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour In Seoul, 2017 Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour The Final, BTS 4th Muster [Happy Ever After] and BTS World Tour “Love Yourself” Seoul.
By using the Bluetooth function on Weverse during “Bang Bang Con,” the ARMY Bomb can be linked and synced to the performance so that it changes color according to the song in real-time, as if the viewers were in the actual concert venue. Detailed instructions are available on the Weverse app.
