Defining the News

Korean idol Jin of the global group BTS counts down the remaining days before he finishes his military enlistment next month. In a clip posted on BTS’ channel, Bangtan TV, Jin shared a pre-recorded message for their fans, ARMYs, stating he’ll be discharged from the military soon.“Everyone, there are a lot of great days in May—mildays that we get off. There’s Children’s Day, Parents’ Day, and Teacher’s Day. There are lots of those days, and I hope you enjoy your days off in May.

Ahead of his enlistment in December 2022, Jin made an effort to shoot video messages for his fans that were posted every month since he entered the military. Reaching the last month before he rejoins the music scene, Jin expressed how much he missed his beloved ARMYs. “You’ll be seeing me very soon. I’ve missed you a lot. Even when I’m looking at you, I still want to see more of you – that’s who ARMY is,” added Jin.“Have a great May, and remember that I’ll be coming to you very soon. Everyone, see you soon!” he stated.

Jin was the first to start his military enlistment and was followed by J-Hope in April and Suga in September of 2023. RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook were the last members to enter the army in December 2023.- Advertisement -
