Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) officials and Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the launching of the PalengQR Ph Plus in the city on Thursday, April 20. ManilaBulletin
Olivarez said the BSP team, led by Ellen Ramos of the BSP financial inclusion office, introduced and proposed the launching of the project in the city.
He also said the project also aims to promote financial literacy in Parañaque's communities, particularly among market vendors and consumers, tricycle operators, and drivers, and their passengers.
