FILIPINO American hurdler Robyn Brown boosted her Paris Olympics bid after claiming a gold medal in the Royal City Inferno Track and Field Festival women's 400m hurdles at the Alumni Stadium in Guelph, Canada . Brown clocked 57.15 seconds as she defeated home bets Marie-Frederique Poulin and Reyne Rodrigues , who claimed the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

The other members of the Philippine Athletics team vying for Olympic berths to join pole vaulter EJ Obiena in Paris are Tokyo Olympian Kristina Knott, Rio Olympian Eric Cray, John Tolentino and Janry Ubas.They also have until June 30 to either hit the Olympic entry standard times of their sport or length in Ubas' case .As of June 10, Knott is 32nd in the women's 200m sprint where the standard time is 22.57 seconds and the top 48 qualify for Paris.
