MANILA—A brewing storm or low-pressure area will bring overnight rains in parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
Isolated rain showers will be experienced over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Palawan, and Albay in Luzon.
The weather system will also bring scattered rains over the eastern section of Visayas, and parts of Mindanao. PAGASA said light to moderate winds coming from the south to southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province with slight to moderate seas.Residents along mountain slopes are advised to take precautionary measures against possible hazards such as landslides, mudslides, rockslides and flash floods.
