Bowser community is holding another fundraiser this weekend for to help the owners of the gas station destroyed by fire in December
It’s been more than two months since the community of Bowser, north of Qualicum Beach, lost its only gas station, but that hasn’t stopped the community from supporting its owners.
“Replacing that station is going to be a long project and so we always think fundraising isn’t just one and done. It’s a marriage you’re not dating. It’s going to take a long time,” said Rosanna Pitella, an event organizer., he then quickly helped his 39-week-pregnant fiance out of their RV parked behind the building.Today the Bowser gas station still lies in ruins.But Flegel has pivoted through this stressful time.
