ILOILO CITY – World-famous Boracay Island has earned two more international accolades in September which is celebrated as World Tourism Month.
The country’s most famous beach destination in Malay town, Aklan province was named Asia’s Leading Luxury Destination at the recent 2024 World Travel Awards .
“This award means a lot to the tourism industry and boosts our economy,” said Malay Mayor Frolibar Bautista. Veranda, an American lifestyle magazine, named Boracay as one of the 15 best sand beaches in the world.
