DURING his visit in Quezon province on Thursday, May 9, Sen. Bong Go brought hope to thousands of struggling residents from vulnerable sectors and displaced workers at the Tiaong Convention Center.
The additional support that the senator gave has reassured these communities that they are not alone in their hardships.As a testament to the power of unity and community, Go joined forces with the local government led by Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea. Together, they assisted residents in dire need, particularly those facing significant economic hardships. This collaborative effort underscores the shared commitment to the welfare of the community.'I don't choose a day to work.
At the same time, 600 displaced workers were given aid under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers program of the Department of Labor and Employment, an initiative that Go has supported.In addition to the financial aid, Go and his Malasakit Team distributed essential items such as grocery packs, meals, vitamins, masks and shirts to the beneficiaries.
