SEN. Bong Go recently collaborated with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in their 'Malasakit sa Kooperatiba' initiative in an event that took place in Barangay Maulong Covered Court in Catbalogan City, Samar, on August 3. The primary goal was to bolster cooperative development efforts in Region 8 (Eastern Visayas).
SEN. Bong Go recently collaborated with the Cooperative Development Authority in their 'Malasakit sa Kooperatiba' initiative in an event that took place in Barangay Maulong Covered Court in Catbalogan City, Samar, on August 3. The primary goal was to bolster cooperative development efforts in Region 8 .As part of this program, 23 cooperatives from Region 8 received financial assistance of P50,000 each through the CDA.
A staunch advocate for cooperative development, Go co-authored and co-sponsored Republic Act 11502, which designates October as National Cooperative Month in celebration of the contributions and achievements of cooperatives across the country.
