PETALING JAYA: A package that was sent to the tourism, arts, and culture ministry’s headquarters in Putrajaya earlier today did not contain a bomb, say the police.
In a Sinar Harian report, Putrajaya police chief A Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the package was addressed to tourism, arts, and culture minister Tiong King Sing’s office.Asmadi said the police’s initial investigation found that the package was sent to the ministry via a courier company at 11.19am and was retrieved and taken to the 14th floor at 2.45pm.
