DEFENDING NLEX ace gunner Robert Bolick was no easy task for Meralco veteran Allein Maliksi, who had his moments guarding the former in Game 1 of their PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal series last Friday.
Bolick was red-hot from the get-go, accounting for 20 of NLEX's 28 markers in the first quarter alone.The former San Beda combo guard went on to finish with a career-high 48 points as he almost single-handedly led the Road Warriors to the victory, only to be stymied by the Bolts, who gutted out a 97-93 win in the end.
