Body of PH seaman arrives from Japan

The remains of Joel Canete Linao, a Filipino crew member of Panama-registered Gulf Livestock 1 that capsized early this month as a typhoon struck Japan, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 Thursday onboard a Philippine Airlines flight from Narita, Japan.enclosed casket arrived at around 4:20 p.m.

Gulf Livestock was carrying cattles and had 43 crew members, including 39 Filipino nationals, when it sunk.The two survivors Jaynel Rosales and Eduardo Sareno are set to arrive in the country Saturday.
