Agents of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)have intercepted almost P4 million worth of illegal drugs in an anti-smuggling operation at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC).

In a statement, the BOC said the illegal drugs were hidden inside four air parcels from France and the United States.They were sent to a consignee in Pasig City, Manila and Paranaque City.The parcels contain 2,040 pieces of ecstasy tablets concealed in a foot massager, and 317 cartridges and 14 candies with cannabis oil.The ecstasy pills originated from France and were sent to a consignee in Pasig City.
