An M badge on a BMW model usually results in paroxysms of lust and longing. Yes there are M models like the X5M and X6M that made us pause and wonder. But generally all BMWs with M in their name gets our blood pumping.
The BMW XM is another of those M models that made many people pause; with some even questioning its existence. But like many quirky BMWs, I like it. I’m drawn to the beautiful, blocky styling, and it’s quite symmetrical despite its size. And that twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor puts out 644hp and 800Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful BMWs ever made.
