Blackpink’s Jisoo is preparing to make her debut as a solo artist within the year, according to a statement released by YG via Korean media outlet Newsen on Monday, Jan. 2. Details of her solo debut date, album details, and concept are yet to be revealed.“Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album.

Jisoo is the last Blackpink member to release a solo album project after Jennie in November 2018, Rosé in March 2021, and Lisa in September 2021. She debuted as the girl group’s lead vocalist in August 2016.
