Bishop Santos said he is worried over the safety and well-being of the recorded 258 Filipinos in Sudan.
“We are for you. We support our government to keep you all well-protected and bring you safely back home,” the bishop said. “We are praying and offering holy masses for their safety and security,” he said as he advised the Filipinos in Sudan to remain calm and to secure their safety.
