BIR updates guidelines for taxpayer registration

The Bureau of Internal Revenue has released updated guidelines for taxpayer registration renewals, detailing processes, classifications, required documents and applicable fees.The updated information is available on the BIR’s website under the Citizen Charter section of the Revenue District Office . The section includes a table outlining taxpayer classifications, registration requirements and transaction details.

Pay the required documentary stamp tax , BIR Printed Invoice and any other applicable taxes or penalties at the NBRC. DST fees are P30, while the cost for the BPI depends on the printing provider.Step 5: Final processing and release of certificate. The BIR will process the certificate of registration , and once all documents are verified, you will receive your new BIR COR, notice to issue invoice and BIR printed invoice .
