Oil companies said fuel prices will go down by as much as ₱3 per liter starting Tuesday.
Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Cleanfuel announced on Monday a per-liter decrease of ₱2.45 for diesel, ₱3.05 for gasoline, and ₱3 for kerosene.
On Oct. 3, the Department of Energy said the oil price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of gasoline by ₱15.30 per liter, diesel by ₱13.80 per liter, and kerosene by ₱8.94 per liter. Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board on Oct. 5 disbursed ₱860.97 million to the Land Bank of the Philippines for the distribution of fuel subsidies to public utility vehicle operators and drivers.
