Seven active members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters , under the Bungos Faction, surrendered to the Philippine Army at the headquarters of the 7th Infantry Battalion in Datu Angal, Midtimbang.

Those who laid down their arms were Commander Naot Palaguyan, Akbal Abpi, Jimmy Angkana, Nguda Sangkina, Tato Tio, Aries Abdul and Danga Pindaliday. They are all residents of Barangay Darampua and Barangay Angkayamat, Sultan Sa Barongis municipality. They handed over one homemade Cal. 50 rifle “Barit”; one homemade Garand rifle; one homemade Thomson; one homemade shotgun; one homemade Uzi.
