McLaren Development Driver Bianca Bustamante cruised to her first podium finish this season in the second round of the F1 Academy on Monday morning, May 6 at the Miami International Autodrome.
In Race 1 of F1 Academy’s debut in Miami, Bustamante wound up at the back and 10 seconds adrift from the rest of the grid after starting from the second row in P4. Enduring the bold charge of French driver Pin on her rear, Bustamante held on to the second place with only eight tenths of a second separating their cars.
