The Bureau of Immigration on Thursday said it recently intercepted a Korean citizen who is included in the red notice list of the International Criminal Police Organization .The BI said 28-year-old Kim Yonghun was boarding a flight to Incheon, South Korea at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last June 3 when his name registered a positive hit in the INTERPOL ’s list.

The bureau said the Korean is wanted in South Korea for robbery and physical injuries after he abducted and detained his victim at an undisclosed location in Cheonan-si last April.“He allegedly demanded money from the victim, repeatedly punched the face, burned his body with cigarettes, and threatened to stab him with scissors,” said BI. “Kim then robbed the victims’ belongings, including his cellphone, bag and cash, and ran away.
