Operatives of the Bureau of Immigration thwarted the attempt of an American sex offender to enter the country for the second time.Kent Thomas Kuszajewski, 59, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Hanoi, Vietnam on June 12.He presented a US passport under the name Blade Tyler but it yielded a positive hit in the BI derogatory list, prompting immigration supervisors to deny his entry and order his return to his port of origin.
He first attempted to return to the Philippines in 2021 but was barred from entry for being included in the BI blacklist. He was found to have used the name Alex Stevens.“We are deeply concerned about his activities in the Philippines given his criminal record. His repeated attempts to return using different aliases show his criminal intent,” said Tansingco.
