On Wednesday, April 8, residents of barangays Tagapuro and Santa Elena received live chicken, bangus or milk fish, meat, vegetables, and rice from the Tacloban City Social Development Welfare Office. Romualdez announced the city initiative in an earlier interview."People could not go out of their homes. Some of them lost their jobs because there is no movement in the city. Instead of giving them rice and canned goods, we want to give them nutritious food that will help them strengthen their immune system," said Romualdez.
