Do you often look up prices for broadband plans? The answer is probably"No". But if you're moving to a new place, it's something you would do. After all, who knows if there's a better deal waiting? With that said, let's see if there are any surprises in our June 2023 list of best-value broadband plans.Best broadband options under RM100 For this month, there were nearly no changes to the monthly fees for the RM100/month broadband plans.
In addition, U Mobile has joined the broadband game with its new U Home 5G plan launched last week. It's an affordable broadband plan offering 5G speeds and is contract-free. You can find out more from our launch report here. Despite this, CelcomDigi Fibre currently has the best value for this category because it has the highest speed-to-price ratio. But if your area doesn't have coverage, we recommend the TIME Fibre Home 100Mbps. If you live in a landed house, you can also opt for the Astro Fibre 50Mbps or Unifi Home 30Mbps.Best broadband options under RM200 As for the under RM200/month category, we see a new Unifi Home 100Mbps plan. This version has a higher asking rate but offers Netflix Basic.
Besides that, there wasn't much else interesting. As such, stick to TIME Fibre Home 500Mbps if you want a great value deal for your apartment. The special Unifi Home 100Mbps plan mentioned earlier is also a good choice if you want to have Netflix. To be honest, it's not significantly cheaper than getting it from Netflix Malaysia . But you would only have to pay one bill in this scenario.Overall, not a very exciting month.
