The three-day showcase offered visitors captivating entertainment, mouthwatering cuisine and holiday packages.
Eyes were glued to the stage during traditional performances like the Amazing Mask Show, Puppet Show, Phi Ta Khon and Kon Cherd Khon.
Many visitors snapped selfies with large scenic backdrops depicting Aiyerweng’s sea of mists, Khao Yai’s sunflower fields, Chiang Rai’s Wat Rong Khun and Mae Fah Luang Gardens. Themed “A Celebration of Culture, Cuisine and Creativity”, the showcase was organised by The Tourism Authority of Thailand Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy and Consulate in Penang.
Phumas said, “Sanook” referred to the concept of joyful living, which they wished to share with Malaysians.
