Sa mga naging ex-girlfriend ng kaniyang mister na si Gary Estrada, inamin ni Bernadette Allyson na kay Donita Rose siya nagselos.
Sa panayam ni Carmina Villaroel sa programang "Sarap 'Di Ba?," sinabi ni Bernadette na naging bukas noon sa publiko ang relasyon nina Gary at Donita.
Sabi pa ng aktor, sa kaniyang mga naging kasintahan, sina Bernadette at Donita lang ang kaniyang binalikan, bagay na ikinagulat ni Carmina kung papaano nagkahiwalay noon sina Brnadette at Gary. "Naghiwalay kami, 10 months together and then after 10 months we broke up, ewan ko, Christmas of that year. Parang nagkaka-falling out of love, busy sa trabaho, pareho kaming busy tapos hindi ko alam," pagbahagi ng aktres.
Pero pagkaraan ng isang taon, muli umanong nagparamdam sa kaniya si Gary at gustong makipagbalikan. Gayunman, tumanggi umano siya na makipagrelasyon sa aktor bagaman aminado siyang may gusto pa rin siya kay Gary.
