The creative juices of Ben&Ben continue to simmer throughout the enhanced community quarantine.
After revealing the other day that they wrote a new song during ECQ, the band uploaded a video that has snippet of new track “Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin?”Though they’re still improving on the arrangement, Ben&Ben uploaded on Twitter the lyrics written by twins Paolo and Miguel Guico.
“Sasalubungin kita sa dulo ng ‘yong galit / Uunawain kita para di tayo maging / Epidemyang di matapos tapos sugpuin / O problemang di makita sa’n ang salarin / Tayo ba ay naging makasarili? / Sarado ba’ng tenga sa mga hiling?” read some of the verses. The chorus goes: “Nakikinig ka ba sa akin? / Hindi kita gustong awayin / Pareho ang ating hangarin / Ang kadiliman ay basagin.”Christian Bautista and Janine Teñoso also released the duet “Bukas Wala Nang Ulan” which they hope would “uplift” the spirit of people while battling with pandemic.
