AF Payments Inc., the creator of the beep card, has reached another milestone by partnering with GHL Systems Philippines, a national payment service provider and acquirer. This means that merchants partnered with GHL, including Shell and Watsons, will now accept beep cards for payment, boosting convenience and accessibility for users. Simply tap to pay and enjoy your purchases.
beep cards are available for purchase at Light Railway Transit (LRT) 1, LRT 2 and Metro Rail Transit 3 stations, select convenience stores, retail outlets, and online via Lazada and Shopee. This GHL initiative is a key part of beep's growth plan, which focuses on expanding card acceptance. Currently, the beep card is accepted on all elevated railways. Select bus lines, point-to-point buses, ferries and modern jeepneys are also beep enabled. Looking towards 2025, beep is preparing for an ambitious expansion. AF Payments, Inc. aims to significantly grow its partner network with the goal of processing 3 billion transactions by next year.
