If there's a single celebrity who took the theme 'elegant formal' a little too seriously at the GMAGala2023, it's Beauty Gonzalez.
According to Beauty, her look was "an appreciation for Philippine Ancestral Gold," a beautiful representation of the Filipino culture at the GMA Gala.
"My [centuries] old [gold neckpiece and earrings] are [excavated eye and mouth covers] from distant places like Butuan and Surigao," the Kapuso star said on Instagram. The ancestral pieces of jewelry were reworked by local bespoke jeweler Riqueza Fine Jewellery and had already made a previous appearance at the National Museum and Ayala Museum.: a 1930s Art Deco necklace, earrings, and a ring with Colombian Emeralds and Diamonds from Riqueza Fine Jewellery.—Hermes Joy Tunac/KG, GMA Integrated News
