The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has entered into a partnership with PhilTower MIDC to install common towers across its key properties, including Bonifacio Global City, New Clark City, and Morong Discovery Park. This initiative aims to boost digital connectivity and position the Philippines as a leader in Southeast Asia's digital revolution.

PhilTower MIDC has committed to installing common towers across key properties owned by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority ( BCDA ), including prominent locations like Bonifacio Global City , New Clark City , and Morong Discovery Park .

This initiative, aimed at bolstering digital connectivity, materialized from a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between BCDA and PhilTower MIDC, a joint venture formed by Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation and Phil-Tower Consortium Inc. The MOU, according to BCDA, serves as a framework for PhilTower MIDC to conduct pre-investment studies related to this project. While the agreement doesn't currently entail any commercial terms, BCDA highlights that PhilTower has already established a strong presence in New Clark City. They manage rooftop installations for both the Government Building and the National Academy of Sports, which are currently being utilized by major telecommunications providers, Globe and Smart, to enhance the digital capabilities of the area. BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang emphasizes that this partnership positions the Philippines at the forefront of the digital revolution in Southeast Asia. He states that PhilTower MIDC, with its extensive portfolio and deep industry knowledge, is uniquely equipped to support BCDA's vision of driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability within the country's digital infrastructure. Bingcang further underscores that this collaboration will create impactful solutions that enhance connectivity in high-priority areas, marking a critical step in strengthening the digital landscape not only in urban hubs but also in emerging zones like New Clark City and Morong Discovery Park. PhilTower MIDC President and Chief Executive Officer Devid Gubiani echoes this sentiment, stating that the consortium's proven expertise and unwavering commitment to advancing national development goals align perfectly with BCDA's vision. Gubiani emphasizes that this partnership aims to not only enhance connectivity but also drive socio-economic growth in vital hubs such as Bonifacio Global City and New Clark City. BCDA concludes by stating that this partnership represents a significant leap forward in the country's efforts to modernize its telecommunications infrastructure
