The UniTeam presidential-vice presidential tandem of former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is scheduled to series of miting de avance rallies this week in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The large assemblies cap the 90-day election campaign, which, under a resolution of the Commission on Elections , ends on Saturday, two days before Monday’s combined presidential-congressional-local elections.
House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin G. Romualdez, one of Duterte’s campaign managers, said he expects hundreds of thousands of supporters of the BBM-Sara tandem to attend the miting de avance events.“These are the culmination of our cross-country campaign visits. In behalf of our candidates, let me express our sincere gratitude to our supporters, local officials, and community and sectoral leaders, and ordinary Filipinos who have been helping and supporting us.
Kalye Surveys meanwhile noted that a survey on April 11 to April 30 showed Marcos Jr. getting 68.3 percent and is poised to record a “supermajority win”
