PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Wednesday received his second Covid-19 booster shot as part of his administration's push to promote booster vaccinations in the hopes of slowing the spread of the coronavirus in the country.Marcos, 64, got his shot during the Department of Health's 'PinasLakas,' a national vaccination campaign to ramp up Covid-19 booster shots for eligible population.
Last month, the President tested positive for the coronavirus although he showed no major symptoms except a mild fever.The President was among the first prominent Filipino personalities to catch Covid-19 in 2020.He recalled the experience during his inauguration on June 30 and said, 'It was not a walk in the park.'Since his inaugural, Marcos has visited government offices, attended official functions, and administered the oath-taking of newly appointed government officials.
