The Batangas City police arrested a drug trader who had been included in their list of high value targets on Tuesday morning, July 19, in his hideout in Barangay Cuta in this city.

The suspect was identified as Patrocinio Barredo Jr., 51, a resident of the same place where the buy-bust operation was carried out in the early hours of Tuesday. According to Brigadier General Antonio C. Yarra, director of Police Regional Office Region 4-A, the raiding operatives from the Batangas City Police Station, were also able to find about 55.7 grams of shabu with an P384,000 worth of shabu from the suspect.
Yarra extolled the operatives of Batangas City PS for capturing the high value suspect who was operating in the city and nearby areas A criminal complaint for violations of sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 , is being prepared for referral to the Batangas City Prosecutor Office.
