COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao will not abandon Sulu even after the Supreme Court has ruled the province is not part of the region. Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao said their focus on the Bangsamoro government under his leadership is maintaining unity with the people in the region, and this includes the Sulu people.
Ebrahim said the Bangsamoro Government remained committed to inclusivity, understanding that the unity of the Bangsamoro people — historically and culturally — was vital to the region's peace and progress.'We remain hopeful that in time, the unity that binds the Bangsamoro people through history, struggle and shared aspirations will prevail,' Ebrahim said.
