Barangay workers in Iloilo receive P1K hike in monthly honorariums

Barangay Service Point Officers celebrate the news about their honorarium hike as approved by the Iloilo provincial government. Barangay Service Point Officers , Barangay Health Workers , Day Care teachers, patrolmen , and other barangay volunteers in Iloilo can look forward to a more cheerful holiday season as the provincial government approved a P1,000 increase in their monthly honorariums.

The honorarium increase will take effect in the first week of December. The new rates are as follows:• Barangay Tanods: From P2,000 to P3,000 per month. The announcement was made during the BSPO Congress, which gathered 2,393 BSPOs from 43 Local Government Units across the province.
