Guo’s removal from NPC was in response to the petition of Tarlac Governor Susan Yap filed on June 17.The idea to expel Guo from the party was first brought up by fellow NPC member Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.On Friday, authorities filed a complaint against Guo for alleged human trafficking in connection to the illegal POGO hub in her town. Over 800 Filipinos and foreigners were rescued in the Bamban POGO hub after it was raided in March.
