PSA, " Balota " starring Marian Rivera just dropped a new trailer!On social media, Monday, GMA Pictures released the second official trailer of the much-awaited Cinemalaya film.The 30-second trailer opens with Marian serving in the election as a teacher, then cuts to scenes of corruption happening in the shadow of the election. Marian heads into the forest with the ballot box and is also shown deglamorized as she fights a gun-toting assailant.
" The film follows a land-grabbing tycoon and a former male sexy actor who are locked in a tight race for the mayoral seat of a small town."Balota" is written and directed by Kip Oebanda, the award-winning filmmaker behind "Liway" and "Bar Boys," and is co-produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Entertainment Group.
