The summit also aims to raise public awareness about media-citizen councils as a mechanism for redress and resolving conflicts between and among media and those who complain about inaccuracies in news reports via mediation through alternative dispute resolution.Prof. Gary Mariano of De La Salle University will keynote the summit, while KMCC co-chairman, ITP alumna, and Baguio Midland Courier Assistant Editor Lita Jane Cadalig will introduce the KMCC to the participants.
