The participating cities are evaluated by experts from various global organizations, based on 'ambitious climate targets, preparedness for future challenges, and the comprehensiveness of their climate action plans, among other criteria.'The city also received a SubayBAYANI Award on Dec. 3 for its Tree Research Hub and Tree Nursery or Greenhouses project at Forbes Park.
