BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Police Office reported that the grand opening parade of the Panagbenga Festival 2025 here on Saturday, Feb. 1, was generally peaceful and recorded zero theft incidents for the first time.BCPO chief Police Col. Ruel Tagel attributed these to the effectiveness of their strategic security measures and the active participation of the community in crime prevention.

Tagel said police and 1,400 force multipliers implemented a comprehensive security plan for people attending the Panagbenga opening salvo.
