Rest well, little angel.

MANILA — The Philippines’ youngest survivor of the novel coronavirus has died, his father said Thursday.

Kobe Manjares, born on April 12, was diagnosed with COVID-19 when he was only 5 days old. He eventually recovered and was released from the National Children’s Hospital on April 28. However, his parents brought him back to the hospital in early May due to constipation. "Nakausap ko 'yung doktor kagabi at sabi tutubuhan na siya. Pagkatapos, sinabi wala na," his father, Ronnel Manjares, told ABS-CBN News Thursday morning.

Manjares said he still needs to find a ride from Alabang to Quezon City to claim the body at the hospital. He added that he has no money for Baby Kobe's burial expenses.
