Sa ulat ni Nico Waje sa"24 Oras Weekend" nitong Sabado, kinilala ang suspek na si Mikaela Veronica Cabrera, na lilipat na sana sa nirentahan niyang bagong condo sa BGC.
Malambing na na makikipag-usap si Cabrera sa una, pero magpapaawa kalaunan na nalulugi ang kaniyang negosyo at kailangan niya ng tulong para maisalba ito. Para lalo pang makuha ang tiwala ng biktima, nag-isyu si Cabrera ng tseke na milyon-milyon ang halaga. Pero tumalbog ang lahat ng mga inisyu niyang tseke.Pagkalipas ng isang linggo, nagmakaawa si Cabrera tungkol sa negosyo umano kaya nag-alok ng tulong ang biktima.
