Ayala Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala said on Thursday that the private sector is one with the Duterte government in mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on the country’s socio-economic landscape.
“We all have role in rebuilding people’s confidence so that they can feel safe and getting us all started again,” he added. “It is impressive and almost embarassing for me as a government official because the private sector is fast in reacting and the magnitude of generosity was quite impressive,” Garin said.
“One thing that is quite extraordinary is the way it created a commonality or spirit, the Bayanihan spirit, in many cases, a unity of action, and a change to work in many sectors of government,” he said.
