Australia's oldest living person Catherina Van Der Linden has celebrated her 11th birthday on Saturday after crediting her longevity to an active lifestyle and the occasional glass of champagne. Mrs Linden was born in the Netherlands in 1912 and migrated to Australia with her husband and young family when she was 35. She celebrated her birthday with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at West Beach Residential Care in Adelaide.
