Aussie B-Girl Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn , 36, retaliates at scrutinisers in fiery social media post after 'embarrassing' breaking debut at Paris Olympics spins mockery

An Australian breaking athlete has clapped back at social media users after she spun headfirst into rampant scrutiny over a disaster performance in the dance’s debut at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Picture: Ezra Shaw/Getty Images The 36-year-old came head-to-head with the backlash on Saturday and took to Instagram stories with a fiery shot at her tormenters.

“Looking forward to the same level of scrutiny on what the bboys wear tomorrow,” she wrote over a yellow, green and blue gradient backdrop. The dancer is Australia's top-ranking breakdancer and a creative arts researcher specialising in the cultural politics of breakdancing at Sydney's Macquarie University.

She secured her place in the Games as Australia’s b-girl delegate after winning last year’s Oceania Breaking Championships against a dancer named Molly.
