The Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City and the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Manila suspended classes in all levels on Monday, September 26.These schools announced the suspension of classes on their respective social media pages as super typhoon Karding intensified and threatened large areas in Luzon. On Sunday, the weather bureau placed Metro Manila under Typhoon Signal Number 3.Ateneo said that details on changes regarding work arrangement will be announced via Blueboard.
The city of Manila also announced the suspension of classes in all levels on Monday.An advisory from the Manila Public Information Office and Mayor Ma. Sheilah 'Honey' Lacuña-Pangan on Sunday confirmed that face-to-face and online classes are cancelled.
